Things to See and Do
Reconnect with nature, family and friends.
With amazing scenery, sunrises and sunsets, the Snowy River Cabins farmstay is a photographers paradise. By day explore the property, bush walking or mountain biking the many formed and unformed trails. Head out on the river fishing for the elusive Snowy River trout, pan for gold, spot platypus or just explore the waterway by canoe.
At night go for walk by torch light to see wombats, wallabies and other nocturnal wildlife, or turn off the lights and look up for a view of the heavens that you just can't take your eyes off - the kids will love counting shooting stars.
Detox your mind and your body. With no mobile service, no internet and no TV's its a tech free haven giving you the opportunity to unplug from it all. Find your own little patch of ground for a picnic or read that book like you have wanted to for so long. A session in our traditional wood fired Finnish sauna will refresh your body especially followed up with a dip in the crystal clear mountain water of the river.
Only 2 hours from Canberra, Snowy River Cabins is the farmstay destination to get away from it all and unwind by the campfire at night under a billion stars.
